As opposed to what? All pain paths fighting in a 6v1? That’s not how Nagato usually fights as stated by Konan.

Nagato wasn’t being generous when he said Jiraiya had a very good chance at killing him if he had intel

Jiraiya did in fact probably surpass Orochimaru after Orochimaru left the leaf, or maybe even earlier then that. Not only do we have Kisame confirming Itachi's statement, we even have Pain saying that if Jiraiya knew his secrets he couldn't win. Itachi and Kisame wouldn't talk about say, Kakashi like that

Bounties are an absolutely secondary element only used for hype and general strenght. Nothing really great plot wise.

I mean, I and other two "predicted" Akainu's 5B based on hints and comparing CG's with Dofla star system. Then we "predicted" and uspet Oda? We disrupted Oda story and mystery lol?
And we'll see for Kuzan's, about which we made plenty of guessing and even bets.

Some time ago I even guessed Saturn's death and Garling new Gorosei just to say one, which Is much more plot related lol.

Oda's message is stupid, but It's clearly talking about the big mysteries/things. Not bounty guessing or even small time events guessing.

With intel, Jiraiya doesn’t fight the Paths but goes for Nagato himself. That’s very abundant when Nagato talks about “his secret”.

Sage Mode was already a non factor against three paths lol. He was cornered and had to rely on genjutsu, a fighting style he isn’t good at so the Pains didn’t anticipate.

Sage mode works well vs the preta path which is probably the most useful one outside of the Deva.

It didn’t work well against the Preta Path? It absorbed his super-large Rasengan without issue

The only reason Naruto got the better of the Preta Path is because he was in a position to overload it with Senjutsu chakra from a stationary position.

Absorbing normal senjutsu attacks won’t overload it—as senjutsu attacks are already perfectly balanced between the users chakra and the nature energy.
