I'll say it again, there is no difference between Admirals and Yonko. All of them are at the pinnacle of strength when it comes to top tiers.

The good thing is that it's confirmed Gaban isn't just comparable to Rayleigh or Yonko based on reputation but it's also due to his own strength.
Having FS and ACoC definitely ain't a joke.
So Sanji - and the Admiral fighting him - won't be dragged down by clowns when they can no longer argue Sanji's ceiling is >= YC1.

I wasn't comparing Gaban's ACoC with 1010 Luffy's - my only point was that you can't judge a character's strength by their toolkit alone. Otherwise, 1010 Luffy would be even stronger than Gaban as he has ACoC, FS, ID CoA and a strong DF.

I already said I think prime Gaban was top-tier - if you ask me, I'd place him next to current Big Mom.

The agenda was always about separating Zoro as far as possible from Sanji to come closer to Zoro ~ Luffy and eventually Zoro > Luffy, that was the main goal. Therefore Sanji had to be an absolute fodder.

That agenda was widely successful and Waban came in and crushed that take. Now for the vast majority of people it's clear that Zoro ~ Sanji will be a thing till EOS.

Pushing Luffy ~ Zoro ~ Sanji is just further humiliation for both Luffy and Zoro but a huge W for Wanji.
