Honestly. Either Imu is unable to fight for himself and needs Gunko, or for some reason the army of Elbaf is needed for this enemy when he has about 13 immortals under his command already…

Even without Imu controlling her. Those arrows are no fucking joke. She’s smart, fast enough to pull one over Gaban who clowned Luffy, and has high lethality even without haki

I feel like the reason Gaban having CoC is not made 100% clear with a statement from a character is because Oda wants to keep it somewhat ambiguous to not spoil the fact Sanji will get it. He didn't try to hide it with Rayleigh because he needed to introduce and explain CoC (and haki in general) properly, and it wasn't yet too obvious that he was Zoro's parallel anyway. But Gaban being Sanji's parallel has been clearly established through Luffy's statement and the "Minister of Love" thing. Oda wants Sanji CoC reveal to be surprising and impactful, so maybe he'll only confirm Gaban used it after Sanji unlocks it.
