Lafitte seemed to be setting something up, but not some direct attack. Also, BB's plan seems to be centered around joining the WG (kind of same ways as he joined the Shichi) and more so now, with the information about two ancient weapons ready to be taken), I expect Teach is going to prioritize taking them over anything else.
