Assuming Imu ate the DF, I guess he was ultimately possessed by the Earth God.
I mean, we got to see Imu possessing Gunko so the chance is high that Imu's body is currently also possessed by the god.

Blackbeard currently has 2 DFs but beating Joyboy's arch enemy is another thing. He's highly greedy and overconfident and this will clearly be his downfall if he obtains the DF.
