Reminder that WG been wanting to get their hand on giant soldiers for centuries

...and when they ended up actually invading Elbaf, they succedeed in a few hours. (before Luffy saves the day I guess)
Koido fraudulence is build on Imu's laziness
Well in all fairness they had to wait for Harald to set up the seal before they could invade

And the point of the experiment was to mass produce them by turning humans into giants

The Marines have had giants for a while now but if they could turn thousands of humans into giants (and later ancient giants essentially) they would be completely unstoppable

By conquering Elbaf they might get a few hundred. By completing their experiment they’ll have as many as they want

Gunko being an unsuitable vessel for Imu could lead the way to an Imu-controlled Loki which is by far a more threatening arc villain than Gunko.

Imu-Loki would probs be above Kaido - an Oars type battle would be hype af.

I wonder if Loki covering his eyes has something to do with why Imu wasn't able to control him in the past.
Isn't the Gunko thing just a joke from TAC

Hold your horses, as long as the only source for spoilers is TAC

Imu-Gunko is already way above Laido if he gives Luffy even a high diff fight.

Two of the tings I really wanted to see when we touched down on Elbaf was 1.) Strength of the giants that have been hyped up as the strongest race in the series for god knows how long & a bit of justification as to why everybody on their mom wants to have them in their army 2.) The strawhats squaring up against powerful giants on Elbaf

Looks like Oda’s gonna deliver on both with Dorry & Broggy if Oars is anything to go by ^^

Not sure how Oda will draw an actual 1 v 1 btw a human & a giant (that doesn’t just end in a one shot) so looking forward to that ^^

My point is that they canonically wanted giants for centuries and yet never took the initiative of invading the country that would give them an army of giants til now. John Giant was the first giant to work for the WG and they only got him because of mother caramel. Them not invading Wano got nothing to do with Oden or Kaido, or whatever cope. it's just plot

I am thinking what if unlocking Black Blade, you need to make a pact considering the demonic theme that revolves around Mihawk, Ryuma and Zoro and the fact Black Blade itself sounds demonic.

Mihawk being a Dracula that has the Red Rinnegan eye and talks to his sword as if it's a living being :pepeshy:

It looks to me that it's some sort of demonic ritual performed on their eye for power up purpose.
