What do people expect when there is literally one big bad antagonist being the source of All evil and antagonism with just evil minions to deal with?

How else is the plot supposed to differ if not by DIFFERING IN HOW ITS EXECUTED.

I thought the whole problem people had with Madara Kaguya plot execution was that Madara was replaced by a demi-god figure that was just introduced and we knew nothing about.

It is about plot execution afterall

The fact that Oda is giving exposition to the so called Kaguya (Imu) is a good thing for the story and sets the base for more familiarity and intrigue into Imu

Which still does not make imu the final Villan.

And just coz there is a similar pattern because of similar variables it does not govern they manner of their treatment and use in plot for execution.

This not a diss on Naruto either..the anime atleast gave some exposition to Kaguya making her revival feel not like an runa the mill decision.

I have to assume that they did agree to the terms subconsciously. Brogy just got absolutely massacred and his homes in danger, I feel like someone offering him power for a “short amount of life span”, which for a giant means nothing, is just a good deal to him and in his heart he wanted that power that was offered.

Otherwise forcing people into servitude is too much. Even Big Mom needed people to feel fear. Maybe Imu needs them to lust for power

I see what you're getting at but I doubt that's the case. For one, Dorry & Broggy don't seem like the type to lust after such tings. Sure they might want to get stronger but I doubt they'd want to achieve it that way. Moreover at what cost? Shorter life-span, mind-controlled and ordered to kill people dear to them? Doesn't really compute tbh.
Also you gotta keep in mind that as opposed to Linlin who's a mere mortal, Imu is a god so we can't really confine him to what Linlin is or isn't able to do.

Honestly it’s not unlike something we’ve seen giants do before. Remember Oimo and Kashii promised to sacrifice part of their lives and serve the world government in exchange for their captains lives which they were told tinge held hostage.

I wouldn’t be shocked if Dory and Brogy would make the same bargain, especially since Imu didn’t mention the servitude as part of the bargain. Dory and Brogy being given a body that’ll allow them to fight the muma and possibly more in exchange for a fraction of their long life sounds like something their heart would agre to even if their minds know it’s a bad idea.
