It sort be something like egghead but this time the SH at least play part.
Instead of getting save from a outside force fully without doing anything but it really won't be some big L for Imu .

Also not talking about you but i can't believe some people think that haki blast was small.

I called Imu being exorcised by Brook last chapter, it will happen 100%.

Having the ''mid tier crew'' that is supposed to be the PKs crew and a Yonko crew right nows Brook use his soul powers and connection to Gunko get her to wrestle control away from Imu is fine.

Only aura junkies would care.

Fair but the exorcism would be strictly plot relevance because of Gunkos connection to a character who has the power to control souls. It’s a super situational outcome that wouldn’t be replicated. (It’s why I don’t diss Enel for not destroying Luffy in Skypeia)

Yeah thats my only concern about Oda showing off this character right now, even if its a posession. Somehow he'll be thwarted, which means a level of downplay will occur because Luffy will save Elbaf inherently.

If theres anything, I do hope he sets up this shit only to leave and summon the remaining God Knights here, but I doubt that because clearly the Revolutionaries are attacking Mariejoa, based on Imu's words last chapter.

BB's a unique case because he's an unusually active villain who's expected to grow stronger. I'd wager - and I think most would - that he's not yet at his peak.

So his temporary Ls are usually forgiven on that basis. If he was not the FV he'd be the most disrespected top tier.

Mind, I'll not make or commit to any predictions re: Imu. He could be the FV or he could be a roadblock.

Egghead was an escape arc, this isnt.

Oh I was referring more to the specific circumstance of a new type of villain appearing and showcasing unique powers.

Gunko is just a current stand in for Imu. Obviously this won’t be Imus final form. We’re basically in the fat Buu era of Imus character at best and Babidi at worst.
