In 1150, Yamato's Cover Series 34, we see that Ulti is still holding the Amigasa Hat that Otama made for Kawamatsu.

Wouldn't be surprised if EOS Tama was making the Straw Hats with Joy Boy's Haki, and good ole Bellamy was making the Flags with Joy Boy's Haki Infused in em.

His reasoning for coming to wano was never explained all he said was yamato didn't know how important Wano was

And he hardly had any kinda characterization out side of being all about strength
