Powers & Abilities It will happen: Nika power sharing

#1
It’s going to happen whether you like it or not.

Imu can make anyone an immortal demon. There is simply no way for the allies to compete without a similar power.

Luffy has a god fruit, just like Imu(creating demons was said in the Harley to be of the forest god). He should be able to do this.

The only question is what Nika sharing will look like.

Probably, if it's done properly and not an asspull like Naruto I don't think people would mind it.
I mean Nika in of itself was already an asspull. Simply building off that concept imo isn’t as bad as the initial asspull.

If Luffy does have a fruit that the WG is scared off, it should be capable of more than just the stretching stuff Bonney and Katakuri can easily mimic.

At most, I can only see Luffy boosting the crew's Haki when he activates his power sharing mode...

Like:
Brook can full coat his bones
Franky can imbue CoA on Franky Shogun

Something they cannot do when Luffy's power sharing is not activated...

I've said it before, if "Gum" was still in the name and half the name was hidden it wouldn't have been as bad.

It will be quite the cosmic irony for Oda to follow the Naruto route after so many One Piece fans trashed the series for it.

Might be worth it just to see the sheer unabashed hypocrisy that the fanbase would exhibit.
People kinda only associate this with naruto because they’re both shonen

but

giving your powers to others is the natural ability of a God. In the Torah, Moses and Aaron were given powers from God. In the New Testament, Jesus gives his disciples powers after his death. Even in Hinduism, the gods give warriors magic weapons.

Nika doing this makes sense, as he is a god

Romans 8:28 - 8:29

Now viewing scripture range from the book of Romans chapter 8:28 through chapter 8:29...

Romans Chapter 8

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

.

The Bible says the saved people will be conformed to the image of the Son of God.

I think that is where the idea for Bonney to be able to appear as Gear 5, and Luffy looking like Nika sort of but not being Nika or Joyboy, came from, and why she appeared like that when she said she wanted to be the most free, it's a form anybody can potentially have, a glorified body

I don’t think Oda is actually a Christian or has read the Bible.

I think he has a surface level understanding of Christian lore and also might have indirectly been inspired by Christianity as a result of how Christianity has shaped western media.

but one piece isnt really about religion in any meaningful sense

I don't know but there are lots of parallels, if things just so happen to fit together like that it would either be intentional or a list of big coincidences
