Tbh Dragon Kaido is pretty formidable in his own right. People don't realize that but it's true. He's just not that great for a 1v1.
Ngl, though, he did better than what is to this day Kizaru's best feat (kicking Snakeman Luffy through the barrier) when he ate Snakeman Luffy and launched him ALL THE WAY THROUGH ONIGASHIMA with a Boro Breath. And Luffy looked arguably worse than when Kizaru kicked him.
That's a nasty feat especially when it's coupled with him straight up tanking an OKG plus his own Boro Breath completely. They really don't make em like Kaido anymore.

I think so yeah, Deidara was more so like "oh that kid went bad, shocking"
While Sasori, Orochimaru and Itachi were viewed as legitimate demons by their villages and were wanted dead

I don't think we have anything from the mist village talking about Kisame, so I'm not sure what they thought of him. And Kakazou and Hidan seemed to be from tiny irrelevant countries

The Mist brat hypes Kisame up as a monster, that's about it. Unfortunately Mei was the least relevant Gokage member and Mist itself ignored in Shippuden

Zoro didn't fall from the stab. It was poison and lack of food. That's why the manga focus on his stomach before he fell instead of his shoulder.
