I don't remember tbh, but that makes sense. And yeah, I wish we got a legitmate arc for the mist village, since "The Bloody mist" was hyped up way back in part 1 with Zabuza and Haku, and even later on the reveals that Obito and Madara had been running it. Would have been awesome imo.

A Bloody Mist flashback arc or something would've been amazing. The village has the most personality, even more than Konoha. But Kishi was afraid to globe trot (allegedly) because that was One Piece's thing. Like how Oda said he didn't want to do much fighting in the first 100 chapters, to not be too much like DBZ.
