Now that CoC is so mainstream with Sanji opening the gate to potentially Karasu getting CoC you would be better off with pushing Law getting another unique fruit ability that sets him apart from the rest

Recently re-read Konan vs Tobi and now I'm kinda pissed that she didn't succeed. It was cool to see how she checkmated him from the beginning and he won with muh magic ability.

Obviously couldn't have won for plot purposes but it sucks when side characters don't get their well earned Ws

Izanagi was a pretty cool twist there imo. Kishi set all the pieces up and even included the fact that Tobi had Hashirama’s powers earlier, iirc?

So it was less of an asspull and more of an “Oh that makes a lot of sense” moment to me

Yes, Im betting on infusing people with your CoC instead of yourself tbh. Imposing your will upon their bodies if you will. Would stop the regen for example.

I wonder if the logical endpoint to such a power might be whatever Imu's doing.

As in the Conk haki is so advanced that it allows some level of reality warping, as well as remote possession and amping people whose bodies are infused with it.

And the reason for all the pentagrams and transformations and shit is because it's all manifesting from Imu's imagination.

Basically I'm suggesting that Imu has haki so strong that it circles back round to mimicking a DF.

It's a pretty bullshit theory, but a fun idea, no?

When a villain overcomes everything a character throws at them it adds tension to the story. The fact that Tobi was always hiding an eye was a huge revelation

Yeah I can see that plus the anime executed that fight so well especially the post Izanagi moment. The Madara VA was peak there even for his standard.

Say what you want about Kishi but he always had great fights like that up his sleeve even if his writing was gradually getting worse.

Surely not as bad as Oda.
