Yeah just like his exoskeleton and DJ that’s not necessarily something he worked to master (physically that is, emotionally he worked hard to master them) but they were just what he was born with. I feel oda will do the same for his CoC

Why would we see a bunch of random people with kings Haki? Obviously a story would focus on the people who have it and are unusual. one in a million people have it, not one in a billion. IRL this would mean thousands have it.

Garp explicitly confirmed that Luffy was born with his Haki, so either Big Moms parents had it and never used it, or someone in her family line had it, it's pretty simple

And this is pure nonsense because Oda has shown him fight with a sword every single time we've seen him fight or even prepare to fight. Even when he was, what, 11? 13? He was shown fighting with two swords alongside Buggy.
He has NEVER been shown fighting WITHOUT a sword. So when you claim that he ISN'T a swordsman, the burden of proof is completely on you, because the manga and anime have shown him primarily fighting with a sword EVERY SINGLE TIME HE'S FOUGHT.

My point is that Oda's never shown that to us though. He's never been clear about how exactly people get Conq Haki. So far the only thing we know for certain, is that people are born with it.

I agree with that. In retrospect him choosing a more difficult path and forcibly using his own skills over wearing a raidsuit. With this philosophy it is possible for him to unlock CoC this arc.
