Bruh Shanks flag was a Harald tribute all along instead? DAMN! HUGE GAMECHANGER!

Shanks got his flag after Blackbeard attacked and scarred him too, HMMMM. Blackbeard failed to get Nika DF from Shanks?

Probably just a chill chapter about Haralds change. No real agenda or big shock. So even if the chapters good, it’s not going to drum up much hype
Aye that's sounds plausible, the leakers don't have much to milk and can't mislead us to the moon and back. I'm looking forward to this chapter though regardless.

Harald seems like a really compelling character already. That last panel of him stomping on a giant much smaller than himself and crashing through a civilian building was truly unhinged but epically drawn too. Extremely character defining too.

Loki did the same exact maneuver to that poor guard, blocking the way to Harald and the throne room. Truly like father, like son.

If anything I do suspect the guards betrayed Harald willingly in a coup. Haralds history of stomping on "inferior/smaller/gentler," and thus more literally humanised giants and walking all over them in size and strength superiority must have been traumatising if not infuriating for them, even both ofc.

Maybe imu could have taken advantage of this resentment and domi reversed them to attack Harald although they looked "normal" in the panel of them killing him ofc.

If Harald was this brutal, then they might have ironically got offended when he broke his own horns off and appealed to make Elbaf more pacifistic and thus not a literal endless warscape/battlefield. They may have seen it as hypocrisy, mocking them via his privilege as the "strongest ruler" by brute force and thus survival of the fittest or even bait somehow.

To think too, Harald is still far more humanised than Oars, quite literally in his appearance too. Same with the extremely brutal, monstrous Kaido. How much of a true monster must Oars and similar "true onis" been then? And how utterly terrifying?

We've barely seen anything on giants with devil fruits too, especially logias as well which speaks volumes immensely on their danger and destructive potential.

I wouldn't be surprised if elbaph has a hierarchy system, even unwillingly due to the absolutely enormous size difference ironically between the "typical human style giants" and the "half oni to full oni giants". Size literally matters then. Those "lesser giants" will ironically know how ever other race who are like ants to them will feel. And then the tontatta, well RIP to them now especially LMAO.

And tbf, humans can be exceedingly cruel and monstrous as we know from kuro, don krieg, the warlords, the WG, Wano, etc. lok what Xebec did to child Loki too ofc.

I do how there's more to why the guards attacked and killed Harald rather than what I'm suggesting though, something more original, compelling, less predictable and such but I wouldn't be surprised if this was the case too.

I hope the theory of Harald asked the guards to execute him is true as that would add immense layers to the tragic storyline especially for him and Loki too consequently and it would be more poignant and fitting of Odas style.

We've seen almighty, "heroic" men and thus titans fall due to tragic circumstances like a Greek tragedy or a Shakespearean one too, usually to protect something or others with their sacrifices as we saw with Tom, Roger, Oden, Whitebeard, Kuma etc. Almost fatally with some others like Zeff too.

Harald has that sane energy. He realised what a monster he had been in the past, either Hajrudin or Lokis mothers changed him for the better potentially, made him feel empathy, compassion and thus remorse, accountability and humility or and he gained those with age anyway and experience and thus he truly grew as as a man and leader.

He was said to be the most beloved king and it does seem to be true given how certain giants speak of him currently, whio have known him and lived under his controversial but for the greater good type reign and I think since Oda loves tragedy in flashbacks immensely and actually killing characters off then instead, we will get that truly expected fall from glory Icarus style buildup for Harald as him opening up his heart and embracing his own humanity leads to his own undoing ironically. Lmao my phone tried to say humidity as I'm suffering humidity hell here too.

For what's it worth, I do think post TS does a lot better in writing more character driven stories, more fleshed out and actual character development.

I saw someone completely ignorantly say one piece has no character development and great character writing and I almost spontaneously shot off into space like a cartoon character imitating a rocket out of sheer frustration lmfao.

No Snaji so no reason to tweak

We gotta get chill lore chapter instead where tiktok reader bros gonna skip :endthis:
Lmao aye true, this forums and the OP community's obsession with Sanji ofc. Even before I joined WG, I've always seen Sanji fans targeted and mocked for many, many years and Sanji the most hottest topic ironically lol.

It's kinda like the anime equivalent of Tom and Jerry, with the Zoro vs Sanji fandoms and eternal feuding Lmao. One side tends to be more extreme and obsessive though, (cough not Sanjis) and they'll still feed even after OP ends for a century like Dorry vs Broggy. Generations will learn and inherit the legacy of never ending agenda clashes and powerscaling gone wild. Historians will study it with great interest and confusion alike.
