Yeah it was in marijoa. Even for his most hyped pirate Oda had him face a turf restrained admiral. Even I never imagined this, I was okay with Rocks defeating a full power admiral.

Nope, I don't think the murdered Admiral was far weaker than current Admirals but neither is "Xebec was just a rookie back then" quite a good argument because killing an admiral is nothing which a rookie would be able to. None of the Yonkos would be able to kill an admiral while they were still peaking. Heck, even in their prime, there's no guarantee they are killing admirals. It's extreme diff by default and then match-ups matter.

The rookie argument is hyperbolic but I mean no way will anyone believe Rocks was in his prime before he formed his crew and became well known, thats not how shounen or OP works. We are about to see insane powercreep imo.

Akainu isn't massively stronger than current Admirals but I don't see how it disproves Akainu's power if Xebec ends up being stronger than him, you know?

I never said it disproves Akainus power, I said while Akainu might be him, I think Rocks was HIM. And people got asshurt about it and started calling me out for having an agenda.

Especially if Prime Xebec was required to be defeated by 2 - 3 PK Lv characters and 1 or two other top tiers. As I said again, Imu might be involved, too.

I dont think Imu was in GV in person, maybe as an avatar who knows. Also I dont think Rocks was jumped but he was likely fighting multiple people but not at the same time.

I’ve been saying for years that Kaido should have been quantified as having beaten an Admiral or another Yonko at least once. Instead Crydo is just a fraudulent bum who never beat anyone stronger than Moriah, rivaled Hanafuda, lost to Oden, etc.

The greatest pirate of all time beating an Admiral just goes to show what Oda thinks of the Admirals. Only the strongest pirate ever can beat one. And don’t even get me started on Roger and Garp having to double team him, this is massive portrayal.

Xebec is like what Kaido should have been if Kaido wasn’t a giant fraudulent bum who never won a fight in his entire life. This is a legitimate Akainu level feat from a pirate of all people.

Mihawk never even fought or clashed with any Admirals.

On one hand where the Admirals as powerful as they are today? This kill may be the reason admirals VA and above must know Haki now, we don't know the aspects of this fight nor how strong said Admiral was, so until we see this event I wouldn't use it to boost Xebec to much
