All the admirals are different in this regard though. lol

1) Akainu is the extremist who thinks eradicating evil is the only thing that matters. He IS the system for the most part. He clashes with the gorosei multiple times about it too

2) Kuzan literally left the marines because of the government hypocrisy and he couldn’t take it anymore. He was done with the marines being a mess and knew Akainu would make it worse

3) Kizaru is just a weapon and a cog in the machine. He just does whatever is told to him and never complains nor praises what he’s doing. He does lash out when his character and loyalty is criticised though.

4) Fujitora ACTIVELY opposes the system lmao. He denounces the WG every chance he gets, played a major role in abolishing the warlord system and bows down in front of the whole world to apologise for the failures of the marines. He stays in the marines to actively change something because he hates the system

5) Greenbull is a literal genocidal loving maniac type shi. He’s a government boot licker but he doesn’t even follow orders, he does whatever he wants. Regardless, he never complains about it and actively glazes the system.

So none of the admirals follow the stereotype that is mentioned
It was a joke but I will say the Kizaru thing is wrong since it's clear that he genuinely believes that Vegapunk should be saved and that he doesn't deserve to die which is funny considering he was perfectly okay with dooming all the people captured by CDs to a life of slavery, abuse, rape, and death. He only cared when it actually affected him personally which is goofy

On the F-S scale,

I would give Marineford Whitebeard an S,

post Oden flashback Whitebeard a D,

Big Mom like a C+?

Blackbeard an A

And Kaido like an FFF-, there is absolutely nothing about Kaido that was done correctly and I’m still in awe of how horribly Oda fucked him up.

And on that scale, Saint Shanks is like a B? Maybe lower? There are certain things I like about him, I like how all the other Yonko are 30 foot tall monsters and Saint Shanks is just like a normal dude but he still rivals them, I think it’s cool that he’s now related to a Gorosei (I just hope Oda does something actually interesting with it)

Saint Shanks isn’t a terrible character in concept, in execution he is just completely boring, and Oda definitely thinks Saint Shanks is a lot cooler than he actually is.

Ironically my all time favorite manga Kingdom has a character who is basically the Saint Shanks of that manga in the form of Ouki, who is one of my favorite characters in fiction. However Hara had the good sense to kill Ouki before he became completely boring and pointless, and he never tried to shove this weird ass “relationship” between Shin and Ouki down the reader’s throat like Oda does with Luffy.

Hara also never wrote Ouki as a complete Mary Sue like Saint Shanks is. Ouki doesn’t have women collapsing in his presence, in fact it’s implied that Ouki is bisexual and there are several moments where Shin feels weird around this giant heavily muscled “queer” (the manga’s word) with thick lips and a lust for warfare. Idk Saint Shanks just doesn’t feel right to me, like ever.

Anyway I could go on but Saint Shanks isn’t completely awful, just boring and pointless as of now.
:BigW: I may disagree with your views on certain characters but this is very well written and it personally boils down to personal preference and I respect your views a lot

Issho is just as bad as the other sanctimonious Marines. “How dare the WG use pirates! Are they some kinda gods?? Let’s instead put our faith in genetically engineered slave children!”

what the fuck was oda thinking when he wrote that…
Yeah he's clearly not a perfect person but he's the biggest rebel out of the Marines besides Garp
The fact he had the guts to talk back to Sakazuki and directly refuse orders from him because he felt that Luffy and Law were very rare and some of the very few good pirates out there, plus trying to free slaves on Mariejois, shows he's far better than the other Admirals.

Oda didn't fuck up anything lol. Kaido was everything he was hyped to be
Easily one of the strongest and most menacing antagonists we had. Great design and abilities too. Only thing Oda fell short with is his flashback and showing why he wants to die so much.

What I think is:

1) god of forest is just cited in the second world (800 years ago). It says he unleashed the demons. So Imu is the god of forest

2) the god of earth is Nika first enemy, he is cited in the first world. I think BB last fruit gonna be the mythical zoan of the god of earth. So he is nika natural enemy
Imo Imu is the god of earth. Imus form in the mural fits a hybrid of the dragon that was called the god of the earth in the first world as such that seems like the fruit he has.
