Im curious, why do you like Shanks? Like I mean character wise. What do you find interesting about him?

Legitimate question btw.
He’s the character that got me into the show in the first place. I was not really interested in the first 3 episodes of the story but he was always this cool uncle who I really found interesting since he is the man Luffy is trying to chase after all. His sacrifice and his moral belief of no one hurting his friends was amazing and was stuff that really stood out to me. And since then I ride for him. He isn’t the best written nor the strongest but for me he is the coolest. Luffy’s dynamic with him is also brilliant and I’m hyped for their reunion

Also the fact he rarely appears but always causes something major when he does is really interesting. Back when we had no clue what his goals were, every time he appeared and did something big, we always thought he was some type of evil manipulator and had no clue what his goals were. Despite being the guy introduced in chapter 1, who moved the world every time he appeared, we had no clue who he was.

And now more and more things are being revealed, we’re finding out he’s related to the WG, was actually the destined child of the prophecy, we still don’t know what his goals for the One Piece are… he’s just such an interesting and cool character. He is a Gary Stu but Gary Stus are meant to be liked and he serves that well. Although the shift to an interesting and more deep character is imminent now that we’re getting more and more lore.

His personality is also really charming and likeable every time he appears.

The Snake is the forest then? Logically the Snake looks more like it could be earth related. But 🤔
The snake is the hellfire serpent.

The forest god hasn’t been explained. The term “released” or “tamed” demons could be about Imu or could be about Elbaf which was the home of the oni (Japanese demons) or as we call them ancient giants.

Outsmarting top tier
Even veteran soldier like Garp got taken off guard and had no choice but ate the bait.

Actually kinda similar reaction, right?
People too focused on waah Shiryu got one shotted waah Shiryu sweating wah Shiryu bleeding. Just like people too focused on waah 1 HP Whitebeard still low diffed Teach blabla.

Both Shiryu and Teach look like they were in bad situation. Actually they are not.
Shiryu even laughing and got up instantly, he finished his task: critically injuring Garp so that Kuzan can win the duel.
Teach also got what he wanted there: Gura Gura fruit.

Oda purposefully drew them in bad light. While actually both Shiryu and Teach got the last laugh here. A beautiful parallel for the Captain and his RHM @Blackbeard
Shiryu ain’t rhm anymore

look at how Teach treated Kuzan after Garp’s capture. He clearly has a new #2

Oda didn't fuck up anything lol. Kaido was everything he was hyped to be
Easily one of the strongest and most menacing antagonists we had. Great design and abilities too. Only thing Oda fell short with is his flashback and showing why he wants to die so much.
Kaido is very surface-level cool. Like, he looks cool and his attacks are cool. He’s cool if you’re a baby basically.

In terms of writing, he was an abomination and every single thing about him was wrong. I’ll bet not even Kaido’s most devoted fans can remember one single line of dialogue that this idiot said in 4 years of Wano. “Death completes a person” is the only Kaido quote that was actually somewhat interesting. I can give you my top 5 villainous Green Bull quotes right now but I’ll bet no Kaido fan can remember any interesting lines of dialogue from Kaido at all. “When you laugh, you smile!”

I did a huge post on this a while back but long story short:

Kaido is both a complete warmonger who wants to start the world’s greatest war, but also a complete sniveling coward too scared to let Big Mom enter his territory. Until three seconds later where he’s decided he wants to fight her personally.

Kaido doesn’t want Yamato to idolize Oden at all, to the point that he would physically abuse her for idolizing Oden. However, Kaido also refers to Yamato as his son, and the only reason Yamato identifies as his son is because she thinks she is Oden. So it’s like Oda forgot he was supposed to have Kaido hating Oden and now Kaido is referring to his daughter as his son? It’s like Oda forgot what he was even doing with this character.

Then you have characters like the Admirals whose powers all illustrate their characters on a symbolic level. Akainu’s magma fruit is supposed to illustrate his explosive personality, his hot headedness, it gives us insight into his “thorough justice” philosophy of eliminating evil without a trace, etc and you can do this with every Admiral, their fruits are symbolic to their actual characters. This also applies to people like Doflamingo who’s string string fruit showed him as both a manipulative puppeteer and also illustrated his secondary “spider” animal theme (all of the pre TS had primary and secondary animal themes to illustrate their hidden natures, etc).

And then you have Kaido. Whose dragon fruit illustrates…nothing. Because Kaido has no character. He is both a raging war monger and a sniveling coward, how are you supposed to give him a power that illustrates his character when he has no fucking character.

Kaido’s backstory was abysmal yes, but by the time we got to Kaido’s backstory I was just like “yeah, everything else about this character was awful and made no fucking sense, so why not”

It’s because I created the Neckbeard nickname isn’t it. Lol

You know Teach is my favorite mere Yonko. Not to sound like a band wagoner because all pirates are scum but I do enjoy Teach the most. Lol
Considering @Topi Jerami turned Jeffrey Epstein into a saint in comparison to Teach and I still interact with the bloke, I don't think neckbeard is enough to blacklist you lol.

You have been singled out because your hate was hilariously unserious, it felt like parody lol.

As for Kinyagi, well, it's Kinyagi lol.

Better than Kizaru, if I saw Kaido fucking break down and sob because he had to kill his best friend even though he was fine with getting people killed or enslaved when they didn't have a personal connection with him, I'd drop his ass immediately.
I'm not a fan of hypocrites. If you're gonna support evil people that ask you to do evil shit don't get mad when they make you do evil shit to someone you actually know for once.
