He does if you're claiming he 1v2's pre-Rose Meruem.

Meruem cannot teleport, he just moves fast enough to blitz fodder. Gon and Netero ragdoll him back and forth and get pushed to maybe high diff total.

Post Rose is stronger aura wise etc

But he became so much more versatile with Pouf and Youpi Powers

He's relative to him, and Gon is stronger, so it balances out as about two pre-Rose Meruems, probably more actually since Gon and Netero actually have Hatsu unlike pre-Rose.

Meruem wasn’t trying to outright kill Netero

You can say that Meruem wasn’t really « all out »

he was only trying to talk to Netero and have his name

Gon by design is made to be ~ around Meruem level

Speed wise Gon isn’t a slouch at all

Durability wise with enhancement + insane aura Gon would be able to tank tons of Netero hits

And Nothing prevent Gon to destroy the ground and the area with his AP, to utilise paper to send huge Nen balls or use his scissors

Gon has the portrayal to win this and even feat wise I think he can have a shot (after a difficult fight)

Adult Gon doesn't have a single speed feat that makes us say he can tag Meruem at all. His only hope is Netero smacking Meruem into an all out punch. Gon would be standing around looking pretty in a 2v1.

Actual adult prime gon would be weaker then this gon that traded everything for what would be decades of non stop training which I dont see Gon ever doing as hes not like Netero.

1. Gon is a threat to Meruem, but the IQ difference and combat skill difference here is so absurd it actually changes the diff of the fight and makes Adult Gon vs Meruem virtually a guaranteed outcome

2. Meruem was trying not to kill Netero so he could learn his name, the first leg could have just been his head

Meruem should win this, and if it’s post rose it’s not even mid diff imo
