Agreed, oda decided to be vague about his title but not his feats tbh, ace novel just added onto that with him being believed to be stronger than whitebeard before meeting ace.

I'll hold off judgement until Wano ends, but I'll be sure to wank the Goathawk and Shanks against him though.

disappoint thing about kaido was seeing kiku and kinemon hurt him not gonna lie, i thought those spoilers were a prank when i first heard of it

looking forward to seeing how sober kaido performs

Ryou was established to be able to hurt him, its basically turning his skin into normal skin and since he wasnt even guarding with haki, its basically stabbing normal hakiless skin, so i dont mind that. As they didnt do much damage if at all. Its basically akin to wb getting stabbed by fodder, does that detract from him? Not really. Especially since he healed it all back when he transformed.

Imagine he got charged by severa yc dudes and other strong characters, by surprise, and while drunk, and they were using a technique that oda said works against him. If we ignore that its basically insulting oda imo. So i dont see the big deal tbh.

i dont actually like kaido's character or personality despite wanking him the most in the battledome, he's kinda weird and contradictory. i only like him when hes swinging his club and shooting flames out of his mouth, i prefer him when he doesn't talk

Mihawk is a strong dude, i feel him being WSS kinda keeps him there, at the top of swordsmen, cause it would be weird if he was the strongest overall too, just narratively speaking :P. But you know, i do defend mihawk in battledome threads too, dont understand how people dont understand the simple concept of WSS and shank being a swordsman therefore Mihawk> Shanks.

whitebeard saying their duels shook the grand line and them rivals for decades makes me think they are very close in strength, shanks is just a bit weaker
