The issue? Party A can win the election by 0.5% difference. What about the other 49.5% people?
Sometimes I wonder, is it really democracy or capitalism dressed as democracy?
Because if Party A (right) places tariffs on other countries, it end up increasing costs in the country.
On the contrary, if Party B wins, they increase inflation through other means (i.e., increase interest rates, gas prices).
But, people are happy because their right/leftist leaders are in power. 50.5% people can say "we won, you lost", only for the 49.5% to win in next elections along with 0.5% addition of people who got tired from the party they voted for, for whatever reason.
