I guess it's because the anime is watched by a larger audience who are probably less agenda prone than manga readers.
It does make me a little annoyed that Toei is so...well, Toei-ish. Like if they didn't cock up things like the MF fights, the anime could have been a good way of recontextualizing fights and scenes.
As it is I remember "wifi haki" being only a slander meme until the anime adaptation of that scene, after which everyone just assumed that Shanks was paralyzing GB in the manga as well the whole time instead of just, you know, threatening and surprising him.
It does make me a little annoyed that Toei is so...well, Toei-ish. Like if they didn't cock up things like the MF fights, the anime could have been a good way of recontextualizing fights and scenes.

I don't think it is possible for Silver Axe to have been an admiral yet because assuming he was Shiki age he would've been too young (for reminder Oda considers Greenbull who his in his forties to be a newbie/young admiral) imo. Also I don't see the marine seperating themselves from one of their top fighters.
Possible Silver Axe was the strongest VA of the time with Garp/Sengoku though and became an admiral post GV.
The more I think about it, the more it makes no sense for the curren generation of VAs to be so fucking weak

I feel like people haven’t fully processed how big of a deal it is that Oda didn’t show Luffy as definitively above Kizaru and then had Xebec offscreen an admiral in the next arc.
And then people have the nerve to say stuff like “no way you think Xebec might be stronger than Big Mom + Kaido” in vs battle threads
Yeah idk the guy who side quested someone relative to BM and Kaido (an admiral) as a “rookie” and then potentially 1v2’d the pirate king and the hero of the marines on god valley… oh no how could I possibly have the impression that he’s a level above Kaido and BM 🤪 @Kurozumi Wiwi @Blackbeard

I gotcha. Vocab definitely implies most users to be on the younger side. Lots of Zoomerspeak and such.
But Reddit in general is mostly bots or younger people, and that mainly a specific type of younger person in my experience (not that I should be talking, I'm still in my early twenties lool).

But PF can definitely get a bit much. I remember this real louse of a user, guy named Wartem or something who pretty much just hated on OP and Oda himself constantly. Like it's one thing to meme or make a valid criticism but this guy was just pure seeth incarnate.
Personally though I can tolerate PF mostly, it's OPPS and their persecution fetish w.r.t the Admirals that I cannot stand.
Half the reason I initially created this account on Worstgen as a throwaway was because I wanted one damn place on the internet with powerscaling takes that didn't make me want to grab the nearest neck and start wringing lol.

The only reason I can't get fully on board with Silver Axe hype is that he seems to be related to L Drake. Just being related to this fodder piece of trash is negative portrayal.
