Smoker and Koby have the potential but X Drake feels like he’s finished

It's a pity because he's super interesting in almost every way, easily one of the most wasted potential cases so far. Even Smoker feels neglected with all the hype going to Koby.

And I guess Oda knows better what to do with his series than I do, but Koby is just not my cup of tea. Would have much preferred Drake or Smoker to get hyped in his place instead.

I'd bury myself if Oda couldn't even give the T-Rex zoan to a future admiral. Deep down I knew Drake wasn't him when Oda gave him the mid ass allosaurus instead

A Tyrannosaurus Admiral would rock! Man, if Drake was a Rex then he might have been an Admiral already.

Only a Livyatan or Pliosaurus Admiral would be better cause then we could gave sea battles.

Mind you Allosaurs were cool in their own right and deserve respect, but I won't go out of my way to defend them cause I don't know enough about them lol.

Nothing against allosaurus, it just doesn't have the power and the "status" of a Tyrannosaurus. If Oda ever gives that fruit to a character, i would feel confident betting on them .

First we have the C3 who are logias. Then we have Ryo (logia), Fuji (Para) and Y Drake (X Drake's cooler big bro with T. Rex zoan).

Not sure what comes before and after them though.

Funnily enough, even the Allosaurus disowned L-drake. Ever wondered why Oda made L-drake a (digrace of an) axeman?

Circa 2001 iirc one of the popular hypothesis for Allosaurus hunting/feeding strategy was using its head like a hatchet/axe: it was estimated to have a relatively weak bite force, but its skull structure was particularly sturdy, that's the gist.

And, well... this theory has been more or less put aside by most modern studies.

I feel you, but that seems to be the way things are headed. Koby, Grus, Helmeppo and Hibari seem to be shaping up to be the next gen Garp, Sengoku, Bogard and Tsuru.

Which actually makes the current Admirals more interestingx outside of Kuzan's boxing they don't seem have that much in common with the previous generation that I can think of. Is there anything?

I don't know if they fit your exact specifications since two of them don't involve superpowers but if you're looking for absurd there's Cromartie High School, Kill Me Baby, Deer Friend Nokotan, Asobi Asobase, Wasteful Days of Highschool Girls, Nichijou and Bobobo.

Tbh I have not fully watched the last two.
