If Silver Axe is really an undercover marine that was (or became after GV) an admiral, I could see him get a nice W after Xebec killing the nameless admiral.

One issue is I have with the theory is that it didn't seem like Sengoku was talking of Silver Axe as a fellow marine, he namedropepd him alongside pirates like Shiki & co. But this is just me focusing on one line (and it's not like Sengoku actually called Silver Axe a pirate) and Oda did much worse retcons .

Oda likes to change his story on the fly if he likes the idea he'll write a reason to justify it.

No idea, if he was a marine maybe he just retired like Zephyr (who he feels a bit similar to design wise). Could be the man with the burnt scar if Oda truly plans to make him a relevant character, as it was suggested it could be someone related to the WG

The marine W will be us seeing Dragon and Akainu sky split in the present trust
