General & Others Roger, Rocks and Garp are brothers

In the same sense that Luffy, Ace and Sabo were but something went wrong between them so they started hating each other as their world views were different and became rivals.

In God Valley, the three fought each other but during the fight Imu emerged and the three fought him but lost and Rocks ended up killed this way.

🤔 some parts I agree with some parts I don't

Could they have been sworn brothers at one point? Yes especially Garp and Roger

🤔but I don't think they ever hated each other, Roger trusted Garp with Ace he wouldn't do that with someone he hated

🤔And Rocks doesnt come off as a bad guy tbh, he even tried to fight kaido for threatening Harald who he considers a good friend

They all just had different ideas and ideals and those ideals unfortunately clashed doesn't mean they hated each other tho

Just the results of circumstances

Garp, Sengoku, and Kong being “brothers” makes more sense
I think they’re more like really close friends that met each other as marine recruits but I don’t think they knew each other from before this period.

The only reason why I think they’re sworn brothers is because of their intense rivalry, Rocks invited every top tier of that era into his crew except for Roger why is that?

In Kuma’s flashback, Rocks told Roger to get out of his way and was casually talking to him indicating they were long term rivals even before Rocks started his pirating career.

They both have similar swordsmanship styles, it gives me the vibes they were under the tutelage of the same master.

O

You’re naive to think Rocks actually gave a fuck about the slaves and the people of GV :gokulaugh:
Who thinks that? I really don't think that's the case in fact, and the image is not mine
Just saw the picture and thought it was funny to share it

If anything, regardless of Xebec, the "funny" part Us for freedom lovers Garp and Roger...

"My slaver brother"
"Oppression Impact"

:suresure:

It's funny how trying to draw Rocks was so likely to end up close to his actual look. Guess that's why Oda gave him those dumbass highlights.

Anyway from how he treated Harald I'd say he actually had more integrity than his peers and parallels. Roger and Garp "winning" did nothing good
