What could have happened to Waidou in God Valley?

- Fought Roger, battled him, and then Xebec took over.
- Faced someone very strong, won, but was seriously injured and needed the Azure Dragon to survive.

- Fought 1v2 against two insanely powerful guys and won, was gravely wounded, Big Mom gave him the Azure Dragon, he recovered and got back in action again — when he returned, Xebec had already been defeated and was begging for his life; Kaidou went there and killed him, giving him a worthy end and terrifying everyone.

Yamato introduced herself to Momo as his father, Oden, when Momo lost his father less than a year ago.
I love Yamato, but she has SERIOUS mental health issues because of Kaido, and I do NOT trust the Scabbards to fix them.
Edit: Wasn't joking about Hiyori x Yamato, tho, because both admire Oden heavily, and Hiyori loves strong Samurai/doesn't like men that much.
I'm hoping Hiyori helps convince Yamato that it's okay to be herself, and respect Oden's legacy by upholding his Will, while accepting that Yamato is Yamato, not Oden.
