Future Events How does Sanji deal with Dorry/Broggy and/or the Holy Knights when he goes up to the Sunworld?!

How does Sanji counter the Regen/immortality?

Good discussion points in this thread but reading through it I would like to add that, “I don’t mind Sanji not getting CoC and have a unique fighting style that allows him to bypass the regen without ACoC; in fact, it’s what I would prefer!! However, it’s very clear that if he doesn’t unlock it, it will just be another thing to taunt fans with.”

I can agree on Bucnaneers' version of PoL not being CoC (although them having a natural affinity for CoC isn't an impossibility). But the thing is we don't know why Sanji can use this power (assuming he does use it) despite not being a Buccaneer.
It’s is simple imo. It’s the same reason Sanji’s able to use an exoskeleton, fire etc. and that is coz of his lineage factor modifications.
Reckon PoL will be somehow tied to Sora’s sacrifice for him. If he got an exoskeleton etc. from Judge then, PoL could be what he’s got from Sora’s interference & might even be the reason why he’s able to switch in and out of exo mode in the first place.

PoL seems to be based on willpower and emotions, which is pretty much what haki is. Sanji might have developed his own version of PoL thanks to CoC. Maybe the drug Sora took allows him to manifest his CoC through the PoL, which would make sense because what she did symbolizes her love for her children.
This PoL = Haki thing sounds very much like that one theory when folks were theorizing that Diable Jambe is a manifestation of Haki.
There’s no way Sanji’s is the only person in the series that is able to manifest fire via Haki and likewise PoL.

I agree with your take on ‘manifest CoC trough PoL’ but our thoughts on this are probably different. Sanji being able to switch in and out of exo mode could be an indicator that he’s subconsciously able to manipulate his lineage factor. If this is true & that PoL is what is enabling him to do it then, Sanji modifying his lineage factor to manifest conquerors Haki is very feasible though I’m not sure how I’d feel about that method.

Assuming Oda goes the PoL route,
an ability that is able to do mental shit like destroy lasers & outright defy the laws of physics, something ACoC cannot do and even hurt immortals like ACoC 2.0 (I.e. a refined version of ACoC that is lauded on by so many on here) is somehow something worthy of mockery :risitameh:. Not like I don’t see what you’re saying but the sheer stupidity of it all is astonishing even more so the fact that it’d be coming from the same lot that espouse the notion that ACoC is the holy grail 💀

Sanji's flames coming from his emotions doesn't have to mean he was just born that way for no reason. There's a high chance the drug Sora ingested did more than just keep Sanji from developing his Germa powers. After all, the wole point was to prevent them from becoming emotionless, so it'd make sense if it was an emotion-based thing that gave him the ability to use fire.

And it'd be poetic, his emotions manifesting through his flames and keeping his heart warm so he wouldn't become cold-hearted like his siblings. Sora litterally gifted him the power of love to protect him. Now, if PoL was really a thing in a literal sense, it'd make even more sense.
I agree — the emotional aspect is absolutely core to Sanji’s flames, but that doesn’t rule out Judge’s influence at all. The way I see it, Sora’s drug didn’t erase the Germa modifications — it suppressed or altered them. That’s why his exoskeleton and eyebrow change still emerged later.

If anything, the “power of love” idea works with the science angle: Judge gave him the biological foundation (unnatural fire resistance), and Sora’s intervention reshaped it so that the trigger became emotional instead of cold, programming.

That’s why Diable Jambe is so unique — it’s a Germa trait filtered through human emotion. The science gave him the capability; his mother gave him the heart.

When did he think of skipping it?
Also at least Usopp is going to defeat Killingham
Aye some people think the rest of the Strawhats are gonna be useless

I think the non M3 will still accomplish things with Usopp leading the charge

Hoping he upgrades his slingshot/seeds here as well

I don’t know if anything can really happen that will truly make it “Usopp’s arc” but he can definitely contribute in a big way

Like Brook in WCI

Grandline Reviews seems to have done a stellar job covering this so will post his vid

Don’t know about Usopp defeating Killingham fam best to just curb that expectation so as to not get disappointed. If he does I mean great for him but regardless of whether Usopp gets an highlight this arc, it’s evident that Elbaf isn’t the type of arc folks anticipated for Usopp & honestly considering what Elbaf has already become with all the plot lines that are still yet to come full circle it seems a bit optimistic to think Oda’s gonna some carve out a unique plot line for Usopp this arc but I digress.

Got nothing against Usopp btw and was actually one those that were excited to see the weaker SHs get some development this arc b4 the CoC ting happened :risisweat:

I was quite sure it was going to look something like this

1. Sanji and Zoro clash with Dorry and Brogy
2. Sanji is domi reversed
3. Evil Sanji vs Zoro, Sanji snaps out of it using CoC for the first time
4. Sanji vs Sommers and Zoro vs Kilingham

Now I'm starting to think we won't see the wings against the two remaining HKs. Luffy has to be the first to handle and defeat an immortal and Saint Kilingham is the perfect kind of opponent for that. Luffy vs Kilingham while Evil Sanji vs Zoro happens is not at all unlikely. In this scenario Sanji and Zoro would make quick work of Sommers in an AWESOME spread. Not really a fan of this second scenario btw

I think it's Luffy and/or Loki vs Imunko
Zoro and Sanji vs Majin Dorry and Brogy
Usopp vs Killingham
And maybe Jinbe vs Sommers or Robin+Brook vs Sommers, I dunno
