I'm convinced Franky will build a new ship for Kidd, somehow Luffy likes the guy. Not sure Vegapunk has any interest on Kidd though. He has yet to speak with Sanji and Franky

Recently, the Pirate Island skull was called a "fish" by some characters because it lacked the "eye holes" that Xebec made when he noticed ofc.
And well Odas own persona is a fish (Oda is a scaly @CoC: Color of Clowns @Mr. Reloaded )

Kidd is a literal Punk themed character, he loves engineering/robotics, Lilith and Atlas would get along so well witm potentially. Similar personalities and interests lol.
Vegapunk's full name is unknown btw. Eustass Vegapunk has a nice ring to it.

As the other person said I think either Kidd or Vegapunk will build something for the others, or even both for each others. I'm still subbing to Lilith joining him since she basically has a will of her own now since Stella is dead. I hope they do something with his fruit because it could be powerful with the IQ of a Vegapunk in his crew. Like build a ship full of metal or smth so he can modify it in battle.

Kidd was in Stampede and Bullet was like a FAR more powerful version of Kidd and his ultimate form could be something Franky could do eventually too. Maybe a combination of Kidd and Franky working together too? Bullet's fruit was similar to Kidd's too.
The same Bullet who was equal to Prime Rayleigh and took Roger to put him down when he got too violent and lashing out too much.
Also Douglas is a Scottish name, Kidd and Killer are Scottish by ethnicity according to Oda too. Funnily enough, it means "Black Water" in Gaelic and Blackbeard has a move called "Black Water", he used it vs Luffy for example in Impel Down.
Franky and Kidd are both from South Blue too.

"And if you don't shut your trap," Kidd roared, "I'm gonna kick you right in your junk!"

In their round 3 fight, they fight much more closely but Luffy never actually wins. Both combatants collapse from exhaustion with Zephyr stating “I’ve grown old” and crushing his inhaler before the battle.
Plus Zephyr gets back up and battles the Navy at the end of the movie. Far from a typical Luffy opponent who is down for days after a major fight with Luffy, Zephyr is up and kicking like nothing after his final battle with Luffy.
To be fair, I think Shiki pretty much bodied pre timeskip Luffy as well, with Shiki never really taking any damage against Luffy and really only technically being “one shot” by a non canon attack that Luffy only uses for that movie. I think people are way too hard on Shiki in that film tbh who himself was also older and out of his prime, but he still did very well against Luffy overall.
But it just goes to show that even for a non canon Admiral Oda was like “don’t go crazy” lmfao and wanted Zephyr to still feel strong as hell.
