This is probably a set up chapter for Sanji vs King after the raid fails
Sanji will clash with him few times and then probably Nami will get captured again

To be fair.... Oda is a jackass!

The arc that Sanji was supposed to shine in is WCI, and he made us the Sanji fans hate how he treated Sanji EXCLUDING the flashback when he was a kid which honestly I liked...

And the arc that was supposed to be the arc of swordsmen... Zoro's arc, Wano... Oda also keeps on torturing their fans... because Oda is the KING of "dick-teasing"

What he does is, he KNOWS FULLY what the fans want in that arc, and what their expectations are... and he decides to dick-tease them about those things... until a moment the arc reaches a point where he needs to rush it and finish it and get done with it....

the Sanji vs Oven or Daifuku were CONSTANTLY teased... he knew it... but he reached a point where EVERYONE demanded him to move to Wano faster... so he only gave Luffy a fight and gave Sanji and crew some small clashes here and there without a full fight

If you mean in a group effort then sure, but other than that Zoro will have a 1v1 with someone else.

The way things are setting up, it's not going to be 1v1s, but rather groups vs individuals. For example right now let's take the spoilers at face value and assume they aren't just clashes but actual final fights: both Jack and King are taken.

On the Alliance side we have Marco, Zoro, Kidd, Law, Jinbei, Killer who don't have a match up yet. The only really suitable enemy that can match with one of them is Queen, (and then maybe Who's Who, Apoo), anyone else you expect shouldn't cause too much difficulty for them. And if Sanji is going against King, it doesn't make sense for the above named to fight weaker characters.

Clearly there isn't enough around for proper 1v1 match ups.

People are going to find excuse that King has the upper hand in that fight. Even a little scratch Sanji gets in that clash will be counted as King>Sanji.

Zoro is probably going to stop Big Mom. She is currently the second strongest in Yonkou group. Although, I don't think that he is going to win.
