Back to square one, he's disrespecting their deaths. Instead of being mournful over the news he goes right to saying he would love to see how they died. Has nothing to do with downplaying their strength.
Kisame is simply just showing he did not care one bit for them as people, but the fact that they were unkillable makes him curious to see how they died.

GV is far from being the biggest event in the manga .
It not even that important in the long compare to Roger becoming PK which then lead to everything that happening for the last 25 years .
This also not the most influential battle in history either that would be the VC.
You know the battle that made Imu the ruler of the world for the last 800 years and sink the world by 200 meters.
GV is hype but the importance is no where near level of what you saying since we know what happen after .
It did not have any big effect afterwards beside someone who fail to try to rule the world .

You guys are coping hard, God Valley has been built up since like, Act 1 of Wano in 2019 and been kept a mystery since then. Idc that there´s simping in this chapter or whatever, but if God Valley is really just a simp war, it would be ridiculously lame(though it hasn´t been literally confirmed, we don´t know what Garp knows etc)
@ZenZu Ngl Kakuzu’s kinda cooked because of Kisame’s statement about Deidara being one of the stronger members. There’s 10 members total in the Akatsuki, so Deidara would have to be in the top 5 for Kisame’s statement to be true.
Obito, Nagato, and Itachi are obviously a lock for the top 3, and Kisame is the obvious number 4. So Deidara has to rank at number 5. Orochimaru should then be #6. We know from Yamato’s statement that the Akatsuki are paired based on strength, so Sasori shouldn’t be too far behind Deidara or Orochimaru. This leaves Kakuzu competing with Konan and Zetsu for the #8 slot

If you can't see why people are worried for what this can potentially mean for this character then there's no helping you here. No amount of aura farming scenes will save Xebec if Shakky ends up being the main reason he makes a move. We'll just have to accept Xebec is a soft ass simpleton and move on.
I think you’re leaping to conclusions a bit but yeah that is a statement that should be looked into.
