I'm talking about Big Mom raw durability, like Zoro against King she can likely defend herself from explosion with haki in normal circumstances but here she was too weakened for that.

You misinterpreted the scene in this chapter imo
The bomb intent was never to kill Wb & co, it was to trap them underground by destroying the exit/entrance (which is why WB used the gura to make an exit), it just happens that the bomb fell next to Shiki's rival (who was in front of WB/Kaido, closer to the exit) and it exploded near him cause they have a funny relationship. If the explosion directly hit Kaido or WB I doubt they would've been so casual, shrugged it off or not. They aren't the type to let others disrespect them, especially Kaido who is known for his violence, and his temper seemed even worse back then.

Anyway I don't know if Silver Axe is on the level of the future yonko (being a rival does not mean exact same level) but Shiki certainly got nothing to envy to them in portrayal.

We know that WB isn’t insanely durable so he probably just used haki.

Kyo still did look like a clown compared to teen Kaido and WB. We don’t if it didn’t hit them btw, that’s all asumptions. Shiki’s entire goal was to trap or harm them. Linlin doesn’t look as clownish since her entire group lost their footing as well. Plus, that was the result of gura gura‘s island-wide aoe lol.

Anyways, none of these are that deep. I just find it funny whenever people think that the yonkos would look bad or get snubbed lol. The opposite is happening, it seems that even teen Kaido is getting favorable treatment. Linlin herself is always at the forefront. We’ll probably see a similar trend for the rest of the flashbacks.

All assumptions are fair, I just think my eyes work fine, and what I see is that Kyo was in the nearest to the exit where the bomb was falling so I find it believable to assume he's the one who took the brunt of the explosion. If it looked like the three were all side to side I wouldn't even try to argue.

Oda just wanted to set up the gag fight between Shiki and Silver Axe imo, since he loves this type of dynamic.

I wouldn't dismiss Kyo so quickly anyway, he's the only Rocks crewmate who got his own special introduction scene in this flashback. Oda didn't need to reintroduce the future yonko or Shiki (chapter 0) as they are well etablished but he's def going to be the most important one with them. This chapter shows that his rivalry with Shiki still carried in the Rocks days while last chapter we could argue he only was the rival of a weaker, pre-pirate Shiki. If he's a spy (be it bounty hunter, marine, cp agent) it makes sense to stay low key instead of making waves.
Kyo won't be Harald, but Oda could pull another unexpected top tier out of nowhere.

Garp defeating the guy that killed an Admiral, then refusing to become an Admiral because he hates the Celestial Dragons, must be looked REALLY HIGHLY by the Marines who know about Rocks.

We are yet to see him display his deadly swordsmanship while magellan used his hax fruit to deal with prisoners, this man relied on his sword and haki so i have high hopes for him. We are also probably going to see new features of the clear clear fruit in his hands Absalom never utilized it to it's full potential he is going to be menace
