Why is the activity so low?
I think it boils down to the current PoE having little in the way of leads to challenge the current consensus, and I'd assume in the same vein it's mostly a select cast of players that regularly contribute; which results in an inevitable stagnation of new information and leads to pursue.
I guess the question most prevalent in this time and place is whether or not the wagons have stagnated on scums who have cornered themselves into a situation where they have made it incredibly difficult trying to change course without raising suspicion; or if it is on Town and scum is content with where the direction is going and feels no pressure or neccesity to stir the pot
Hayumi isn't really trying to defend themselves too much, and Orca is the unequivocal counter-wagon to Hayumi.
I'd say there's about a 95% chance (taking away 5% just because nothing is certain) that at least is 1 scum in these two.
It could honestly be a scum on scum wagon also, like mafia trying to off what they believe to be the SK to save their own skin.
While yes, there's only one member of mafia having fallen, mafia is not in a really in a very favorable situation here either.
Though their subterfuge and reliance on town eating itself up has been creating a very tense and heavy atmosphere in the thread now, the fact of the matter is that they are only a handful of wrong moves away from the dominoes of their demise to start falling.
Considering every, while individually not very strong, evidences pointing towards suspicious activities which I've repeated several times already, with the new claim by York + the fact that Hayumi seems to not really fight for their survival - I am feeling quite confident in this direction.
Orca is obviously not in the clear either, but he is effectively just a distraction as things stand.
