Ogerpon is probably the worst "optimal" choice for Chien Pao raids imo. She can't heal herself and relies on cheers (which are unreliable due to the amount you heal being random) She doesn't resist any of its attacks, and she needs Koraidon support to deal any real damage with shield up because of Haze spam. Wish people would not bring her so much :milaugh:

Kinda random, but as unlikely as this is to happen, I think the only way I’d ever consider playing/buying another Kanto-based game is if it included all future additional members/variants of eligible Gen 1 Pokémon lines…I’m talking cross-gen evolutions and babies, regional forms, Mega Evolution forms, Gigantamax forms, hell, bring back Z-Moves for all I care, let’s just do the whole shebang…there are other ways to improve upon the original story and mechanics, but this would be an easy way to make the familiar seem fresh and lure back those of us who are sick of seeing Red and Blue/Green remakes every other generation :usosmug:

Maybe just set up it in future? Or in the past? Like, post GSC Kanto. Keep a few leaders, change a few, etc

The only way i'd ever play or even get a Kanto remake is if there's some hefty changes:
  • Changes to the Gym Leaders, Elite 4, and Champion
    • This also includes you rebattling them but every rebattle also has them level up. (similar to Pokemon Emerald)
  • You can go for any Gym Leaders now, you don't have to go in order as every Gym scales on your Gym badges obtained.
  • Z-moves, Dynamax, Mega Evolution, Gigantamax and variants of Pokemon (Paldean and Alolan or whatever) are not just limited to your Rival, Champion, and Elite 4. But also have it scale down to Gym Leaders (especially all in rebattles when they have their levels scaled up to Elite 4/Champion level), Team Rocket Executives as well added to that.
  • Also would be nice after defeating the Gym Leaders, Elite 4 and Champion after so many goes. You get to edit the Gym Leaders, Elite 4 and Champion but also have them with competitive movesets, even go VGC style with double battles but also have a rival with the Legendary Birds.
Yeah i just want the games being more difficult post-game and no hand-holding

I don't have one singular favorite since I had a different one per generation/era that I equally love dearly

2005 - Swampert Line
2009 - Infernape Line
2016 - Incineroar Line
2022 - Meowscarada Line

I think I'd have a hard time picking a fave line from each gen... or even a fave, but I'll kind of try...

1st - Porygon
2nd - Mareep - The GOAT SHEEP.
3rd - Milotic
4th - Manaphy
5th - EMOLGA <3
6th - Greninja... (Ash Greninja especially)
7th - Rowlet
8th - Cursola... (Corsola comes second place in 2nd Gen)
9th - Maushold

i try to keep it 3 x # of generations, so roughly 27 "favorite" Pokemon. Will be 30 when Gen 10 comes out

I used to full-odds shiny hunt because I was a sad fuck. I reset Omega Ruby way too many times for my pink/purplish Mudkip.

There are shocking amount of people bringing their story mode Pokemon that aren't even lv. 100 half the time to raids and they are the reason so many of these raids just fail. I suspect most of these players are kids which would make sense considering Summer break wouldn't be over until next month. But god damn is this obnoxious to play with :ohreally:

Make sense given it is summer break.
But we can be also be sure that there are lot of trolls.
With trolls like that, the raids are brutal hard...
