I guess, I assume the world will repopulate again. But the CD´s might want to keep it in the family, so they might need Charlos to have kids who they´ll train to be top tier instead of Lazy, I assume at least.

Charlos himself is irrelevant to Imu, but what he represents is far more important than any Admiral. Admirals can be replaced rather easily, but the Celestial Dragon's image of divinity and total authority are what underpin the World Government, destroy that and the government can't function.

What do you mean by "just to fill two spots"? Two spots were what they were trying to fill.

I don't think it's a miracle, I think Admiral level dudes are just relatively common in the vast One Piece world, the fact that the Marines can just pluck two out of nowhere over the timeskip shows this.

The fact that they´re building bridges like Tequila wolf and the fact that the world already ended twice before makes me think the government has some sort of plan to rebuild the world somehow, or else I´m not even sure what the goal would be.

The WG probably tries to make Admirals believe that they’d be executed if they accidentally harm a CD just to make sure the Admirals are extra cautious, but I doubt they’d follow through. Imu and the Gorosei are smart enough to know an Admiral is way more valuable to them than Charlos

The Navy/Admirals are the primary force behind the WG's actual power, so yeah.

Kings and nobles too btw.

Gorosei's powers are not, but since they cannot and would not work as the Navy does 27/4, not to mention they are weaker, as Oda and everyone in the manga said, the Power the CDs have over the world Is not becuase people think they are holy: people know they are the most shitty humans in existence. As said, HK are a public force an Admirals are on paper recognized as the storgest fighting force of the WG.
Well, Erbaf was already self explanatory, with HK destroyed by Gaban while Kizaru foght on par not with Gaban, but even Ray.

But anyway, that Is not even the point.
Since the Gorosei, which could, let's say, basically do the same as the Admirals, cannot work 24/7 as the fighting force of the WG (and they even seem to want secrecy), Admirals are in fact the reason for the CDs status.

Explicitly I mean.

Admirals and the Navy Is the unwilling (mostly) backbone of the WG's power.
