Character Discussion Would Imu or the Gorosei actually let an Admiral be executed if they accidentally harmed a regular CD?

Quick topic change, is Rayleigh´s fame kind of a nonsense plot point? When the SHP have been shown to not know about how high an admiral is, that Shanks is a Yonko/the Yonko being a thing And now they don´t really know about Gaban. Nami says his name is a in a lot of books, but what books would she even be reading that randomly mention Rayleigh? If it´s a history book, it should mention Kaido and Big Mom, who would be relevant for geopolitical reasons.
Yeah Oda has never been consistent about this

Yes and no, it largely depends on the era and the current events. They cannot let the organization under them suddenly question the status quo. If an admiral can get away with such an offense, who’s to say an audacious vice admiral may not push the boundaries somewhere.

But in the current era, I do not think the Gorosei have the immediate man power to adequately counter every threat that’s slowly aligning to focus on them. Pragmatism will be what holds true when it comes to their continued domination of the rest of the world.

Admirals are nearly irreplaceable but the world draft did find two suitable candidates, with at least 2 admiral candidates among the marine officer corps., which seems to indicate that the World Government can eventually fill any role if given a year or two.

They probably wouldn’t execute an admiral.

Rather, they’d probably turn one into a mindless pacifista, much like Kuma.

Kuma’s immense physical strength, DF, and maybe even his haki was kept intact when he became a robot.

Doing that to an admiral would basically create a WMD for the CDs that’s more reliable than the actual admirals.

If Ryokugyu or Fujitora accidentally injured or even killed someone like Charlos during the Reverie, would the World Government actually have that Admiral executed? Obviously the regular CDs would be calling for their execution because regular CDs are short-sighted morons, but would Imu and the Gorosei actually be willing to lose a highly valuable asset? It’s not like regular CDs actually provide any value to them
lol yes, literally killed a gorosei member admirals arent shit but public figures.

The admiral could get fired but that’s about it. They‘ll have to bring out a ton of effort, likely order another admiral or a Gorosei to do the deed. Not worth the energy, and there’s potential casualties to boot. If there’s no ill intention then the Gorosei might even side with the admiral instead.

Imu killed Laturn for disobeying his orders to dismantle Emeth and for letting Nika escape. That can’t be compared to something as minor as Saint Charlos getting a bruise because Aramaki wasn’t careful enough against the Revs

Usopp and Jinbei both know about Rayleigh who they say is extremely famous. Thats public common knowledge. They dont know jack shit about Holy knights. Brook whos lived the longest and whose bg is still a mystery is clearly the historian more than Robin

HKs arent common knowledge like admirals and pirate king crew members. They dont exist in the navy hierarchy and ppl dont even recognize em as celestial dragons
Loki literally knows that they’re CDs and what the Holy Knights are immediately after Shamrock invited him?
