From a writing/character standpoint what’s is the best era of Sanji? When did Oda’s Pen Peak with Sanji in your opinion?

Sanji was goated entire pre timeskip.

Mr Prince in Alabasta, screwing Enel's ship in Skypiea, following Robin in Water 7, opening the gates in Enies Lobby.
WHILE also not being the giga simp he is now? (He at least could defend himself against females....)

Easily the best strawhat back in pre timeskip.

If I have to choose, it would be Mr Prince in Alabasta.

Oda needs to pay for his sins. Sanji was an all time great across animanga.

Conquerors will get him back on track
Doesn't matter the damage is done. Sanji is never fully recovering from WCI, where he was legit a damsel in distress and even cried outside a 16 year old's bedroom window. No matter what he does, that will stick with him forever, it's hard to take him serious after he played princess that deep into the series.

The OPLA reminder for Oda came too late. I noticed after the OPLA Oda has toned down the Sanji disrespect, revisiting early One Piece probably reminded Oda what Sanji was initially supposed to be. But the damage has been done regardless.

Loda butchered all Strawhats and made them caricatures post timeskip. I can't understand how dudes can even argue against it, all SHs clearly got a lot worse.

Sanji is no longer does the detective shenanigans, which was what made him special in pre timeskip. He could complete in power with the other two strength focused guys, while also being able to cook and being the reliable dude who used his smarts to save them from game ending situations.
Instead, Loda dialled up the worst aspects upto a 11. A giga simp instead of a normal simp chivalrous dude, hyper focused on marimo.

Zoro doesn't have much to do now other than fight and aura farm. Had potential in Wano, only for Loda to abandon all his settings.

Chopper is a pathetic mascot.

Franky is just annoying "superrr", with nothing else going on for him aside from that one fight with Senor pink (that was good).

Ussop regressed and became even more pathetic than pre timeskip, while his entire character arc setup requires him to slowly overcome his fear.

Nami is far less relevant compared to pre TS, the only thing she got was a powerup gifted by a yonko. No major character moment or plot involvement.

Robin and brook are just.....there.

And Luffy. He's the worst, even though others suck ass. Too much to elaborate.

Calling character development 'Sanji disrespect' is a 13 year old power scaler's take
