Hunting game victims maybe. Or a massacred former kingdom regardless. Parts of Thriller Bark resemble the hunting games area on gods valley. Who did the WG send to Moria again? Kuma. Kuma who was on gods valley and played an instrumental role there.
Also fun fact, kuma saved 500 people. At Sabaody, when the supernovas and SHs escaped, the latter due to Kumas "betrayal", Kizaru in a "rage" captured 500 random pirates. Coincidence? Fuck no.
I don't think law taking 100 pirate hearts is a random thing either, Wang zhi was running a pirate cult and Oda still barely will tell us nor show us what happened in that rocky port incident. Surely Blackbeard could solo Wang Zhi too? Wouldn't Blackbeard have his crew there anyway too? Some at least?
