Similar to the 3 eyed tribe, when a member of the no left hands tribe awakens to their no left hand powers, they, through some quirk of fate, inevitably and uncontrollably, end up losing their left hands.

After they lose their left hands, their right hands gain the power to understand anything they touch. They are able to read ancient texts and decode secret languages.

God Valley won’t be in this flashback. Harald wasn’t mentioned before in any regard to the event. Also it would make this flashback too convoluted. This is about Harald first and foremost, not Rocks.

It was said that Rocks and Harald wouldn’t meet again until the day of GV.

What probably happened is that Rocks went to Harald to beg one last time for his help before going to GV.

Oda will reveal what Rocks was after, probably some lore of Loki’s DF, and the aftermath of GV.

I guarantee we’re not going to see GV itself until Garp/Teach’s flashback.
