This is the basis of our problem. You are taking a simple question (without irrespect or even any traps) as me forcing on you my win on an argument. That's twisted bro.
You couldn't understand a thing. I just said you are expecting an answer of me to make your point but you don't understand how I think to make that happens and therefore you got pissed off. I'm not trying to avoid the answer you want just explaining my point.

Let's say that you push STRONGLY a STRONG man and he does NOT fall. Now let's say that you push a 95 year old FRAGILE woman the SAME way.

What we happen to the woman ?
She would fall

Ok, fair point, I will consider that this is how you function. I'll try to make more precise questions if necessary.

Exactly.

Now, we both agree that a fragile person (in this case a woman) that has conditions that makes her fragile (in this case her age) will have more chances to get hurt than a valid 30yo strong man if we push them both strongly the same way (in this case the man is valid so he will probably not fall or be less hurt by the fall).

This means that when the same situations are happening to people with different conditions of existence (for ex here the age and physical fragility of the individual), the effect will not always be similar.

Do you agree with that ?

Perfect. I'm glad.

What we just talk about here, is what we call "the material conditions of existence".

"Material conditions here" means everything that allows us to live and to think and the environment in which we do all of that. (our body, the strenght of our body, our time, our mental state, our living conditions, the people around us, our family, our friends, our laws, our biology, our institutions and many many more....)

Materialists, like me, think that ideas are not the only things that shape society, but more than everything how those material conditions of existences are organized and distributed concretly in society.

For us, ideas matters, but they take root in the realities of the material conditions of existence of the world (who has the food, who has the houses, who controls the factories, who has time to learn, who has the power etc.)

For example: If we have to work 12 hours a day, we won't have the same freedom to study or make other project as someone who doesn't have that load of work.

Do you understand what I'm saying or do you have any question ? (I'm not asking you to agree just yet).

Yes I understand what you saying I just don't understand why you can't say that without giving a lecture. This is not complex and it is pretty much common sense. Why do you feel the need to give it a term just to explain such a simple concept and pretend you are into something deep and thoughtful when you are not?

I'm glad. Yes, it feels like I'm giving a lecture alright, but what I'm doing, is trying my hardest to make sure our understanding is synchronized.

Here is why it is important:

We both agreed about what "material conditions of existence" meant, so we can apply this knowledge to our subject : in this case, trans people. But just before I get there, I need to talk about something else first.

You said to me this: "Words don't hurts others. Others let themselves get hurt by words."

My first point is the following: The material conditions of existence have different effect on people's mental health just like their physical health. This means that different people with different material condition of existence will not be impacted the same way or will not have the same strenght of protection.

For example, a person who doesn't have enough to live or eat, who is in a situation of crisis, with not enough to pay the rent, who was rejected by their family, who has pre-existing mental issues or physical handicaps, who is stressed every day to the point of developping attention troubles or any other types of mental "handicaps"... will be more likely to develop suicidal ideations than a person who has all those things.

It also means that a person strenght is not related to some magical inner will inside like Luffy in One Piece, but related to their material condition of existence (are they ok ? Can they sleep well ? Do they have time to think ? Make project ? Are they free from the fear of rents, food, life ? Are they mentally and physically well, are they pressured in any other ways etc.)

I'll finish my argumentation after you answer me. I want to know if you agree with that.
