Speculations Oda is saving the sky split for Harald’s final encounter with Rocks

#1
We know Rocks is a legendary pirate, commanding over multiple yonko. And we know Harald was his near equal.

So why no sky split? Are they really not strong enough?

imo, Oda is just saving it. The sky split is a very important moment and Oda is therefore saving it for the final encounter with Harald and Rocks.

We know the last encounter happened the day of God Valley. What if, being desperate for an edge over the WG before the GV incident, Rocks decided to relent to Kaido’s plan and take the Elbaf DF by force?

It makes sense, as Rocks and Harald’s friendship is basically over at this point.

Think it’s likely Rocks succeeded in stealing the DF, which is why both Garp and Roger were needed in taking him down. When Rocks finally died, Harald retrieved the fruit until Loki ultimately took it.

possibly

i'm leaning towards the idea that only pirate captains clashing will be given skysplits

even though ppl like Garp, Imu and Harald obvs have haki onpar/better with the likes of BM

Wasn't the DF going to be useless/less effective if someone other than Harald ate it? What's the point of stealing it?

Do you think it's possible it happened after Ida's death ? Maybe she died because of Rocks's involvement with him and Harald crashed out. I think this might be the thing that pushes him to face Rocks again and also remove his horns because of shame since he didn't kill Rocks when he had the chance.

Why are people suddenly obsessed with sky split? All it is, is a clash between two people with advanced conquerors
Not just that, but they also forgot that Sky splitting ONLY HAPPENS depending on the weather...

If there are clouds = sky will be split

If day is clear and sunny = no sky split even if its the strongest top tiers in verse clashing

:risicheck:

More importantly, why is everyone ignoring the fact that Harald and Rocks clash caused literal giant trees of Elbaf to fly?

Trees have more mass and weight to them than mere clouds... isn't this a better feat?

We're talking about an island WAY BIGGER than the one WB and Roger clashed at... its instantly a better feat
