He bungled Big Mom as much as Kaido, just in opposite ways.
Big Mom was totally bungled in the fighting department with her being nerfed and handicaped in the most stupid and cringe ways possible, while Kaido was utterly bungled in the writing and characterization department with Oda not knowing what to do for his personality, backstory and relations/dynamics with his crew and by giving us that shitty connection to and obsession for Oden.
