Ironically Garling is gonna end up fucking over the WG just like Saturn did due to their own shady actions behind the WGs back and thus the decades of buildup and consequences for them. But I guess on Garling's part, it will be more deliberate and part of his ambitions ofc? Imu just promoted him to Gorosei to replace Saturn who Imu killed for these very reasons and now promoting Garling, how truly ironic, if only Imu knew!

Also with Devon getting Saturn's identity and Saturn will have inevitably experimented on Blackbeard before I'm sure.....it makes it all the more personal for Blackbeard and fitting for his plans, his revenge etc for Devon his crewmate to get Saturn's identity, despite Saturn being dead by Imu's hands of all people too ironically.

EXACTLY! The God shit is exactly what pissed me off SO MUCH! Most insulting possibility Murata could have gone with! If God is not involved in the webcomic and thus the reason for Saitama's powers instead (SIGH), I may give the webcomic a chance instead. Clearly the OG material is better as per usual lol.

Imagine like how you get powers from the devil fruits and thus the OP version of asking the devil to grant you powers but a more extreme version where you can tap into Davy Jones' power or something primordial/supernatural/fantastical or w/e, a literal godly power but like the Domi Reversi, it transforms you but maybe permanently or until it kills you ultimately? Kinda like how "the hero water" in Alabasta was meant to give you a massive power boost but would kill you ultimately afterwards?

I wonder about that "hero water" too, heh....One of the more interesting things about OP that often goes overlooked and forgotten...imagine if it was related to the fountain of youth or something equivalent of that in OP somehow? Id love to know what the inspirations of it were.
