I kind of don’t like that Rocks’ entire God valley motivation is offscreen

I actually liked when we thought it was Shakky that was Rocks’ reason for going to God valley, at least then we had several chapters establishing the motivation.

Or if it wasn’t Shakky, we are also shown that Rocks is looking for certain specific DFs so it would have been fine if Rocks just wanted a certain DF, again, we saw that on screen as his motivation

Now it’s revealed that his motivation is his family and home island, two things that have had zero on screen set up in the entire flashback so far. Basically Rocks’ motivation has been entirely offscreen things.

Thinking about it, its true. Oda couldve spent a chapter establishing Xebec interracting with his wife and baby blackbeard.
