I mean, if you want to complicate this then sure lol. To me this just sounds like they raised him.

@Sir Yasheen you could be right about this being about Blackbeard, I guess we'll see. The only caveat to this is that once again the term "disappear" is used again for GV, similar to what Sengoku said and its not explicitly stated to be a Buster Call (yet).

Lets see what happens. The fact that it does not say destroyed like Ohara or Egghead did still gives me pause on it.

Will it get a fakeout though? Or did Shanks live somewhere else after Roger died but I'm the West Blue? Or is Oda gonna retcon how he got that sake for WB? Ooooor somehow that sake survived and "escaped" the disappearance or even destruction of GV?

Isn't Gunko a Manmayer too? Interestingly the live action added that name into the loguetown set on a town banner or something?
