I think it’ll be different. Ray will fight someone actively trying to kidnap Shakky for themselves (Garling isn’t trying to kidnap Shakky during the war, he’s just trying to win her by winning the game so she’s safe from him while the game continues)

Dragons already questioning the mission, I feel like once he sees this shit he’d rather fight a CD than be a marine.

I wouldnt like it, imo this event will be what causes him to leave the marines but he wont fight anyone. He might save the kids and put them in chests but that will be it.

He probably returned to the marine ship he was serving on after the event ended and he cant very well take a bunch of kids with him there. It all makes sense to me.
