Yeah RIP the Uranus theory I guess lol, the framing in this chapter with the earlier spoilers really does imply that Garling was solely talking about the Davy family. When he mentions the island will be erased, the marine ships are in the panel arriving to the island (i.e. Buster Call). Then Rocks talks about his lineage, then the chapter ends with young Teach's family line being exposed.

Maybe if we are lucky, Moria reconstructs the island into Thriller Bark but Im not holding my breath on that one. Oh well, I guess Uranus' origin will be a mystery for a while longer.

I don’t think Teach is as good as Rocks.

Rocks ultimately loved his friends and family. Teach murdered WB, the man who adopted him and raised him. Also murdered Thatch, who should have been like a brother to him. Betrayed Ace as well.

Rocks, if nothing else, wasn’t a backstabber. Teach would have killed Harald and enslaved Elbaf, if he was in Rocks’s place.

Oda is still humanizing Teach by revealing this sad origin. The World Government are all just shitheads in comparison, peak “evil” Teach has never been as heartless as committing genocide for sport lol.

One thing I'm worried about, is that Oda is going to have some of these CD get redeemed.

Gunko for example is obviously going to get redeemed.

The Elders and some of the HK like Sommers are most likely going to die.

But many of the other CD, I feel like are not going to get any severe punishment.

Yeah, the top brass like the gorosei and HKs are going to die. The vast majority of the fodder CDs will probably get rehab and spared though. They were brainwashed since birth that they are gods. Without Imu’s system then you could argue that the CDs wouldn’t have turned out that way.

If God Valley was special because of the Davy Family and not because of it being Uranus or something else.

Then I wonder why Saturn also came to God Valley? Did he just want to play the hunting game as well?

Or is he there just to overlook things and make sure nothing goes wrong.
