Yes, but we know for a fact they were constantly fighting. We have literally seen Garp chase down and attack Roger. This has literally never happened, since the only time Koby and Luffy fought, Luffy was at a war lol.

Oda showed us Garp and Roger clashing before Luffy and Koby, and Garp and Roger fought like 40 years ago lmfao

Ngl I always thought that was Imu personally reviving him somehow. But yeah if Gaban can't do it and seemingly Primebeard and prime Ray can do it, then that puts us in a real pickle.

I will say, people are bringing up Garp calling WB the king of the seas, but tbh, this is just something that´s biased towards criminals. You can´t really have a marine ruling the seas, because (ostensibly) they are beholden to a government.

Same vibe as BM gassing WSC kaido as that thing and all but challenging him in his home turf while nerfed knowing he was out to kill

Garp never did seem in the least worried about oldbeard regardless. Need to see raws to really know how it went down so things can change tbh but if WB did tell BM and kaido to run away with him then Garp > Primebeard looking very likely

Are you trolling? Luffy did not fight Koby in the east blue, and in the w7 they had a ¨playfight¨ where Koby got pinned down by Luffy in 5 seconds. Unless you believe Helmeppo is around Zoro´s level................ The one ¨fight¨ they had in the entire manga is Koby getting one shot by Luffy.

They are absolutely not rivals with Luffy, Luffy has never seen Koby that way. Luffy thinks he has to beat the Yonkos and admirals to become PK. Not Koby, Law, Kidd etc.
