Which is an attack with no AoE, there's no reason to assume he could suddenly dodge an attack as huge and instantaneous as Honesty Impact.
That hits him in the head like Smoker's punch, especially if he can't even use Haki or Tekkai on time, he's just dead.

What do you mean ¨couldn´t even¨? That was a punch almost directly at his face and Smoker has been implied to be fast enough that Luffy had trouble keeping up with him(in base, though). That isn´t the same as Koby building up for an attack. There´s simply no getting around the fact that Koby is having the fight of his life against Vergo

It's purely due to his aesthetic/personality
Certain people love characters that have a lot of aura, they want the characters who act like King or Daz Bones. The nonchalant dudes with "cool" designs who are highly violent and tough.
They hate Koby because he's "too soft" for them. He's too innocent and naive to them. He's a Marine, but he's a very good hearted one that always goes out of his way to save innocent people and never abuses his powers for evil.
They hate that. They don't want a real personality from these characters, all they need is them acting tough and getting into constant fights without a care in the world. They want this manga to be like JJK or Solo Leveling.

You can't just say "Erm but DC is inconsistent!!" when someone brings up a valid counterpoint on how Koby's DC and AP far surpass Vergo's. Vergo simply never showed that level of raw force before. It's alright.
DJ sent him into a wall and made his head bleed basically as much as that punch from Smoker did, and Honesty Impact is above DJ.
Like I said, Koby would kill him. You can't even bring up valid counter arguments anymore, you just spout drivel like "That explosion never seriously affected him" when Sanji told us it actually did affect him and it made him immediately slump to the ground after he got back into his body, and "Koby didn't clash with Hancock though!!" when me and you both know that Oda would have easily written Vergo getting neg diffed by Hancock. Bringing up someone who's an Inbetweener in an argument about someone who's at best YC3 level compared to Vergo who's only a Vet is ridiculous.
