Tbh the main reason why Demon Slayer is mid is because Tanjiro quickly becomes the most cookie cutter MC imaginable, and the rest of his squad isn’t much better (excluding Infinity Castle Zenitsu) The Upper Moons, Muzan, and the Hashira are actually good characters. Every Upper Moon, even Kaigaku, is a much better villain than Kaido.
Yeah, there’s no way Mappa doesn’t make Gojo vs Sukuna into a movie atp. I think the best way for them to do it would be end S3 with Yuji and Maki vs Meguna, then have the movie start with the Bath, Sukuna vs Yorozu, and Gojo being unsealed. Then they should add in a bit of filler and with Gojo and the students to give Gojo some more character focus before the fight. Ideally, they’ll add some filler towards the end of the fight to better set up the WCS than Gege did (give Sukuna some inner monologue about him realizing how Mahoraga adapted to Infinity). Idk if they can just end the movie with the events of chapter 236. I think it’d be best to just throw in Sukuna vs Kashimo at the end, and end the movie with Yuji (and Higuruma) arriving, like in the panel below, so the movie doesn’t end on such a sour note

Idk so far he's mid but I'll find out at the end. Tbh Demon Slayer characters are all mid at best. The writing in demon slayer is straight a.i tier. It's like a trope speed run. Like someone took a checklist of all anime tropes without any substance and made sure it was all there. There's no build up nothing.

@EmperorKinyagi It's funny af to me how people will argue Gyutaro > Gyokko when the author literally tells us the ranking lol. I mean ffs, Kaigaku was made only UM6 despite being Muzan's 5th strongest demon at that time and the UM5 slot being vacant. The reason obviously being that he was too weak to hold the UM5 title, so it's pretty obvious that the mangaka takes the rankings very seriously

People just don’t understand that Tanjiro in the sword smith village arc is way stronger than in the entertainment district arc and that upscales everyone (statements about Muichiro being way above Tanjiro are more meaningful) and that the Hashira speed ranking which has Tengen at 1 was about travel speed (it’s literally stated in sword smith that Mitsuri has faster attacks than Tengen — he’s cooked btw probably weakest Hashira just off of that).
