yeah that usually happens in mangas
cause until the end, people delusionally hold on like "the rest of the konoha 11 is totally gonna get development in the 4th war" "sakura is totally gonna catch up to naruto and sasuke" "madara is the final villain" etc etc
And once the series finishes, there's no more copium. just the reality of the series which is trash. garbage. there's no more "it's all gonna be relevant and come full circle bro".

Pacing is a major problem
Characters like Fisher Tiger and Noland were cool and added to the world building
Wano was dogshit pacing and character wise
I enjoyed Dressrosa colosseum but yeah, the arc dragged on for too long
Giving too much time for side characters comes at a great cost, the characters that people care about won't get enough screentime most likely

yes this is correct, but its majority of the new age fandom nt of just OP but anime/manga in general, where they want the story to fit their perspective and the story is only good if its what they build in their head.
but odas been doing this for nearly 30 years and hes just having fun and drawing/writing whatever he wants to do at this point so they're upset but his story hes earned it.
